I started writing a haiku for every single necklace, when I started making jewelry. Just an extra added gift to my buyers. Here's a video with haikus and necklaces I made for YouTube; it "lives" on the bottom of this blog!
When I started making books and journals, I placed a haiku on the inside front cover. Here's a few of them:
The little boy plucked
The cherry blossoms off the
Trees along the path.
The wedding planner
Wished she was hanging the kites
For her wedding day.
She threw the purple
Petals in the current and
Watched them float downstream

I like that your haikus set your work apart from the others. It makes them extra special :)
I have been writing goals in my journal you made me and just read the haiku in it again last weekend. As Edi said, it does make it extra special!
Wow, this H word is packed with a gold mind of ideas! Very cool!
What a lovely idea!
This is such a fun idea! I enjoyed revisiting some of your haikus.
I could read the haiku and listen to that video and look at your jewelry indefinitely.
Mesmerizing and beautiful.
=)

I love your H post! The video music is so calming. You write beautiful haiku and make such wonderful jewellery and journals. Your creative talents are a gift to the world. Thanks for posting.
I should have expected this would be what you decided to write about today. A natural, perfect fit just for you! =D What a lovely post & theme!
I think that putting a haiku into your art pieces is really a lovely idea. I have to say, the one of the wedding planner touched my heart. And, the purple petals floating downstream painted a vivid picture in my mind. Beautiful work, both in art form and in haiku. (PS - I really like how you make the binding for the books!)
beautiful journals ... such pretty colors!
What a generous 'extra' you tuck into every piece. I think I'd treasure the words as much as the object.
Ordinary Words....the flu has left my building, finally getting around to commenting on your wonder blog♫ Keep the Haikus coming♪
Beautiful idea to put the Haikus in your journals....love it. Brings more meaning to the heart. The purple one grabbed my attention....talking about the color purple tomorrow on my blog.
