I always wanted to decorate my bathroom walls, to make the space into a water scene. So that's the first thing I did when we moved into this house, about 14 years ago.

We painted the kitchen orange after I bought this Indian Corn poster which I love. I don't like the kitchen floor, which is an old linoleum but decided if we replaced it, then we would want to redo the cabinets, add another room, etc. and would be forever in debt. Needless to say, we love the neighborhood and backyard - and we're still here!
So, anybody else want to show us their walls?

Love the orange walls :) I wish we would have added more color to our house when we moved in. The bedrooms are yellow, but every other wall in the house is white...boring, boring white!
bold choice for the kitchen! I love the bold choices in color these days, but alas, husband would kill me if i took him out of his sheltered world :(
Oh my! That kitchen will surely wake you up in the morning! If you woke up in a grumpy mood, you'd just have to walk into the kitchen to cheer up!
You are much braver than I am! I admire you though and do like that bright kitchen!
I would love to show my walls but they are covered in marks and scartches and chips and dirty little handprints and crayon (which by the way is bliming difficult to get off)and pen, and I found some jam this morning!
Cute! I agree- you are very brave to take on painting projects like those:) I hear you though- if you do one move in the kitchen it leads on and on and then you've spend a cool several thousand! Better not to open that box;)
Great idea for a post! I've shown off most of the rooms in our house at some point or other on my blog. Thankfully the previous owner picked good colors for all but two of the rooms, and my mom helped me paint those two (living room and main floor bathroom) not long after we moved here.
Since I live in an apartment, my walls are all white. I don't mind, I just try to decorate with quilts on the walls and pictures and trinkets. There is always plenty of pictures to chose from, since our family is so big!
I think it is great that you are comfortable with color. I put yellow in the kitchen and my hubby thought it too bright. Now, it is a creamy almost white color but with me painting the cabinets a soft green then it balances out.
