The colors of the leaves are from Distress Ink stamp pads. I think the manufacturer was reflecting on fall leaves when they picked what colors to offer. Or maybe it was just me, picking natural colors from the pads available.
But not everyone was thinking of leaves when faced with the letter L. I wonder what the rest of Ms. Jenny's class chose to write about? Come with me over to ...off on a tangent... and see what other words bloggers picked for their AlphabeThursday Letter L.

That is very pretty.
Letter L
Lovely love post especially for 'L'. They are such a grand leaf I always think!
Perfect colors for the leaf stamping.
Another great stamp and page! I like that your stamp is different from all the rest...just like each real leaf is :)
I love the leaves...I wish we had big leafy trees here in New Mexico!
That stamp turned out very good Deb!! I agree- maple is one of the most recognizable & beautiful leaves out there. I'm in love with the colors of the Japanese varieties.
Very pretty ! Looks like autumn on paper !
I miss maples out here in the wild west!
These are so lovely. It reminds me of some photos I shot in the fall when the leaves had fallen and left their wet stamps on the driveway...maybe I should go back and hand tint them... click here to see the photos
great post. thanks.
I love your leaf stamp!!
Your carved stamps are so wonderful!
Of course I enjoyed this choice for L. There is something very classic about maple leaves. I love the colors that you chose.
So beautiful. I'm a leaf gal myself and love art that incorporates them. I'm going to have to try this. Great inspiration for the letter "L".
nice L :)
Love maple leaves too, especially in the fall, when they turn all colors. I made a painting of it once.
I love leaves and think your stamp turned out fabulous! You are getting really good at all your new projects!
Nice to see your leaves... no raking ! (and mine outside are still covered in snow.)
I love maple leaves, too, and we have a lot of them every year...on the lawn...after the leaves fall. I think this stamp is my favorite so far. Your leaves look so real!
It's a joy to see your lovely leafs!
What fun! This is so versatile - you could use it for sooooo many different things!
