Was I surprised to see a photo submission request sitting in my inbox at Flickr Mail. It was from Schmap, a "leading publisher of digital travel guides for 200 destinations throughout the US, Europe, Canada, Austraila and New Zealand."
The request: for this image of St. Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin! As I remember, this was the first major building I photographed, after arriving in Ireland (after flying all day and night from the US!) I think I got 2-3 hours of sleep before we started touring the city.
The image request is only in the final selection phase, but I'm honored that someone thought enough of my photographic skills to pick it! There are more Dublin photos here.
(update: yes, they are using the photograph. I'm famous!)
