I was invited by a local art center to show some of my jewelry in their holiday sale.
WooHoo!
So I went in search for something appropriate to put my jewelry into. Not many boxes around the house, mostly Priority Mail.
I did find some old cigar boxes a friend gave me, and decided to put my larger necklaces in them..
Next stop, Hobby Lobby. I found some really colorful oval-shaped boxes that did nicely.
Jewelry, a poem, and a nice box. What more could you want from a gift?

Yes, packaging is very important!
Ha! I remember that cigar box which held my crayons in grade school.Time flies....
Packaging can really make an impression and is important. Thanks for the reminder.
The packaging is like the icing on the cake!
Those cigar boxes are a great idea!
Congrats on the holiday sale! I like your boxes.
looks great!
Sometimes people will get more excited about the packaging if it's done really well. Plus, why would you want to give someone a beautiful piece of jewelry in raggedy packaging. Love the cigar boxes.
The packaging looks great! It's always important to add that little extra touch :)
cool idea with the box :)
It's too bad cigar boxes start out with cigars in them. I think there are far too few of them in the universe. What could be better than getting a gorgeous piece of jewelry in such a cool container?
