This pink and baby blue necklace is about families growing and time passing. I took an antique necklace, and used parts of it for the pendant and earrings of my new piece. Here's the haiku that goes with it:
Babies and baskets / Full of flowers, pink and blue, / Playing guessing games.
I'm thinking the original necklace had been a gift to an expectant mother, when the sex of newborns was not possibly known. Chipped amazonite stones and small oval glass beads make up the foundation.
It's on sale now, http://www.1000markets.com/products/70157
I realized a few weeks prior, I made a bracelet with the same amazonite chipped stones that would look stunning with this set. It's also for sale at 1000 markets, here.

This is beautiful; and, of course, I love the haiku!
Very cool...love the colors used :)
very pretty - I love the balance of colors
What a cool concept behind a piece. That always makes work better, when there is a good story to tell (I guess that's why you are 'storybeader'-ha) The pendant part is amazing! I love all of those delicate little flowers. It's also kind of like the cells dividing to grow into a bigger little being to take the analogy a bit further.
lovely!
So beautiful!
OOps, don't know what happened to my computer then... but in case it did not register... I just wanted to say, how beautiful your necklace is!
