We went to see the Rock of Cashel, County Tipperary, the day before we returned to Dublin. The Cathedral stands next to a chapel, which was built around 1235. The Cathedral's central tower was added in the 14th century and a "strong" castle (mostly what you see here) was erected on the western end of the Rock in the early 15th Century.
