First of all, a new lampwork pendant on a foundation of round, soft green aventurine. This is dedication to David Shuster, from MSNBC - even the newscasters are on Twitter!
“Everyone’s a
Twitter with the news, ‘Tweet, Tweet” -
You heard it here first.”
(the lampwork bead was made by IslandGirl)

Next is my African Jade and aragonite Zuni fetish bear necklace, that I made (way!) back in Dec 2007. It's 27" long, and easy to put on and take off!
"The Bears made their way
Along the green path to the
Holiday Party.”
A more traditional necklace...
This third necklace combines unakite fetish bears and round beads with gold-plated accent beads. I love fetishes - can you tell?“The bears walked into
The campsite wearing crowns of
Gold they had stolen.”
(bad bears!)
I found this flowered cloisonne coin pendant (below) in an antique store, and strung it on an foundation of jasper, gold, agate, crystal, wood, and glass. A Treasure Necklace!

"Running barefoot through
The grass, she rushed to put the
Flowers in water."
Hope you enjoyed the tour. You can find these necklaces in my Etsy shop. Buy any (or all!) of these necklaces in the month of April, write "etsybloggers carnival" in the notes, and I'll reimburse you 10% of the cost!

I love the third necklace. The green bears are a beautiful color and knowing how naughty they have been makes me like them ever so much more!

Love your haikus! :)
Beautiful pieces!
You are so creative! I love your haikus!
lovely necklaces, fun haikus!
There is a restaurant in Columbus, Ohio called Haiku. While you are dining you can write haikus on little pieces of paper that they supply. Here is their website:http://haikupoeticfoodandart.com/
a quote from the site:
"Patrons are also encouraged to contribute to the atmosphere themselves by creating poetry at their tables and hanging it within the dining area. A sample reading of this collection of poems is as diverse and vibrant as the people who dine at Haiku."
Just beautiful, amd your poems are wonderful! :D
