I've come to the end of beadweaving my rope necklace. I'm so excited - this is a first for me. I'm just hoping I don't mess it up, after the hours (and hours) it took, to get it to this stage.
Now, the beads are woven around a flexible tube. I read in one book, the way to attach a clasp is: 1) sew a bead onto the end of the rope. 2) make a eye pin, after threading the wire through the bead.
Anybody have other ideas?

That looks like a challenge! Good job!
Great job! I wish I could help you but beading has not been successful for me:)

that's not the stitch that I know how to do! So I'm no help.
could you use crimp beads to lock it and then use a fold over end clasp to finish it off?
I can't help with the clasp thing...but wanted to give out a Hoot for job well done...it looks great!
It looks wonderful but I don't have any suggestion on how to put a clasp on it. I'm sure whatever you do it'll look beautiful!
It looks great! Unfortunately, I don't know how to finish it.
You could cut the tube down a little bit and then decrease your stitch down to a "point" and then attach a clasp. OR you could use a glue-in cone clasp to finish it off - something like this: http://www.firemountaingems.com/details.asp?PN=H208152FN
jojo - decrease the stitch - wow! Not sure how you do that. I was going to cut the tube off... I like that cone clasp! I could do that! OR use a regular cone, and feed a wire through, making an eye pin. Thanks a lot. Now I just have to decide which way to go!
