Guess I was hungry...
I love the combination of colors - don't use too many pastels, but these seem to have a good blending of "high and low" shades. There are six drops and the one focal pendant, patterned after my treasure necklaces. Guess I would consider this a treasure: it has a combination of gemstones, crystals, and glass.

I wanted to make this piece into a double stand, so instead of tying down at four locations, I used two wires and attached them to the box clasp. The two lengths, 21½" and 26", certainly gives presence to the necklace. I'm planning on making a pair of earrings to match, so keep an eye out for them, too. Or just convo me - I'd love to hear from you.
Finished piece.
A great gift to someone you love.Or for yourself, for the holidays!

Wonderful Documentary!
Beautiful work Story!
Gorgeous necklace. Saw your comment on Pam's blog. I met my husband in Lawton many years ago when he was a 2nd Lt in the U.S. Army. Your work is gorgeous! And your poetry is a wonderful added touch! Boomer Sooner! (I grew up in Checotah, graduated from OSU)
Ditto BT. Did you get to wear it to the gala?

That looks fantastic!
Beautiful work Story...I knew you would do something creative with that lovely heart focal...Good job...
I like the haiku you thought of while working on this piece. That's a very creative mind to be able to think in words and images at the same time.
